Boy Jockey And Horse
Jockey 84 cm tall
A bronze statue representing a boy riding on a horse.
The Boy Jockey was recovered from a shipwreck near Cape Artemision, Euboea and for years was exhibited without his horse which had to undergo extensive restoration.

Ephebe (Youth) of Marathon
Height: 1.32 m
Bronze statue of a youth maybe of the God Hermes.
It has been named from the gulf of Marathon where was discovered in 1926.
With the exception of the left arm, which is believed to have been repaired later, this statue is believed to be a masterpiece of the Praxiteles School.
It was made circa 330-325 BC

Statue of Poseidon
Over life-size bronze statue of Poseidon the God of the Sea.
It was found in the sea off Cape Artemision north Euboea in 1928
Original work of an outstanding early classical artist, probably Kalamis.
It was made circa 450 BC.

The Charioteer of Delphi
Height: 1.91 m
Bronze statue in full size of a youth erected at Delphi in 474 BC commemorating victory in the chariot races (Pythian games), though not to celebrate the charioteer but the owner of the chariot!
Discovered in 1896 at the Temple of Apollo, Delphi. The chariot, the four horses and the groom did not survive.
An offering of Polyzalos, the tyrant of Gela, Sicily, after his victory in a chariot race.
The anonymous creator of the charioteer is very highly regarded.
